I’ve been buying distressed properties at public foreclosure and tax-deed auctions since 2009 — back when almost nobody showed up except locals like me. It was a different time, the market was on a downward trajectory. You could not sit on a potential flip too long (like recently) because values were going down therefore you had to remodel FAST and be the best looking property on the street to sell first.
I started by flipping everything fast, then kept the best ones for cash-flow. Over the years I’ve helped first-time homebuyers and investors snatch houses for pennies on the dollar.
In 2014 I watched Wall Street start crowding the courthouse steps… so the idea of sharing my knowledge, experience and teach people how to read the public auction world came into mind for the first timeI decided regular people deserved to know these secrets too.
